There’s something special about a dish made with love. I first had this gentle, nourishing porridge at a yoga studio that felt like home in London. When I asked the chef how he made it, he simply said, "with love."

Here’s my version—given to you with love (and the directions).
Overnight Oat and Chia Seed Porridge with Lime and Rose Water
Ingredients
¼ cup rolled oats (supports gut health and sustained energy)
1 tbsp chia seeds (rich in omega-3s, which support brain and heart function)
⅔ cup milk of choice (I use almond for a light, nutty flavor and plant-based nourishment)
1 tsp raw honey (a natural energy booster and prebiotic for gut health)
¼ tsp ground cardamom (an antioxidant powerhouse, soothing for digestion and mood)
¼ tsp lime juice (refreshing and alkalizing, supports immunity and brain clarity)
¼ tsp rose water (calming, stress-reducing, and a heart opener)
Toasted almonds for topping (optional) (for added crunch and healthy fats)
Method
Add all ingredients (except almonds) to a glass jar with a lid and mix well.
Leave in the refrigerator overnight to thicken.
In the morning, top with toasted almonds.
Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and indulge.
